Weddings involve a lot of planning, creativity, and most of all…money! In the world of weddings, there are several styles to choose from. Some include casual, formal, semi-formal, destination, and beachside. Many brides have a general idea of what type of wedding that they desire and these ideas are sometimes inspired by a celebrity couple’s wedding. Some brides have emulated a celebrity wedding in its entirety, while others simply borrow the look of the bride’s attire–including the birdal gown, bridal jewelry, hair, makeup, and bouquet. Having a celebrity-inspired wedding is possible even with a not-so-celebrity budget.

The first step in pulling off a celebrity-style wedding is to search popular magazines for Hollywood weddings that most inspires you. Be sure to choose a look that fits your own personal style and personality. Do not be intimidated by the diamond bridal jewelry and accessories. The average couple spends approximately $30,000 on their wedding, while the average celebrity spends hundreds of thousands of dollars. Swarovski crystals will achieve the look without ruining your budget.

After you have chosen your star studded look, the next step is to do what you do best…go shopping! Many wedding shops carry bridal gowns that are designer knock offs.

Be sure to take a picture of the wedding dress and bridal jewelry to the bridal shop. More than likely, a store clerk can help you find the look that you are trying to achieve. If you don’t find what you are looking for right away, don’t give up; just move on to another bridal shop.

The wonderful thing about having a celebrity-motivated wedding is that everyone gets to be a star. Most Hollywood stars have other celebrities standing up in their wedding, which means that your attendants should have designer-inspired attire as well. Your bridesmaids will love the idea of being celebrity-inspired for a day. Wearing a designer knock-off and diamond like bridal jewelry is an inexpensive way of looking like a star!

After you have selected the bridal attire for your Hollywood-inspired wedding you can move on to the other details–the wedding cake, dinner party, decorations, etc. The best way to communicate your ideas to the florist, caterer, and wedding coordinator is to use a picture. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words. If you have chosen pearls as an accent, it is a good idea to take your pearl bridal jewelry along with you in order to coordinate the appropriate colors. Those that are experienced in the wedding industry are perfectly capable of accommodating a celebrity-style wedding on a strict budget. Before you know it, you’ll be walking down the aisle as if you were going down the red carpet.

There is always one gorgeous wedding dress that stands out nearly every year, and more often than not, it is always worn by a celebrity. After all, who would best represent glitz and glamour than a true blue celeb. In case you too want to shine as bright as they do on your wedding day, here are some celebrity wedding dresses that have caused quite a stir – for their aesthetic features as well as monetary value. Well, you can just imagine that these wedding dresses cost more than the value of their elegant bridesmaid dresses and wedding favours put together.

1. Renee Zellweger
Although her marriage to country singer Kenny Chesney was short-lived, Renee Zellweger’s bamboo twill, ivory-colored, form fitting strapless wedding dress went down in history as one of the best celebrity wedding dresses ever. The wedding dress perfectly complimented their beach-themed wedding. Of course, it does help that Renee has a body to die for.

2. Sandra Bullock
Sandra Bullock looked absolutely stunning in her Angel Sanchez-designed strapless, antique white lace dress with ruffled bodice. Although her wedding was anything but conventional, Sandra was the very epitome of a blushing bride that day.

3. Melania Trump
You may have heard the rumors that Melania Knauss’ wedding dress designed by Christian Dior cost a whooping $100,00! The form-fitting, white strapless dress donned by the third “Mrs. Trump” is almost history-book worth, with its stunning design and 16-foot train that weighed 50 lbs. Imagine walking around in that. Oh well, you shouldn’t be surprised. Expect over the top – and nothing else – from a Trump.

4. Tori Spelling
The late Aaron Spelling’s beloved daughter, Tori Spelling, wore a form fitting wedding dress sprinkled with crystal beads. It was the perfect traditional wedding dress that every woman would surely envy. Of course, the middle-class bride should do away with all the crystals and look for some other substitute to sprinkle her dress with.

5. Britney Spears
Nearly everyone hated everything about Britney Spears and Kevin Federline wedding. The groom, most especially. It came as an awful surprise to the rest of the world. However, Britney’s gorgeous Monique Lhuiller wedding gown saved the occasion. Britney Spears wore a $26,000 wedding dress with a hand sewn train and cathedral length veil.

6. Demi Moore
Demi Moore did not look her age when she became Mr. Ashton Kutcher. Her floor-length gown by by Jeanne Lanvin was sheath-style, topped with jeweled shoulder straps. Her dress was simple, lovely and one of a kind. Just like Demi herself.

7. Jennifer Aniston
Jennifer Aniston’s now-defunct marriage to Brad Pitt was a wedding that stirred the media for weeks. No, it was not about the ceremony itself, it was all about the bride and her to-die-for wedding dress. Jennifer’s halter style, white tulle dress, adorned with tiny pearls was designed by Lawrence Steele. It was the perfect wedding dress to define a once-perfect marriage.

If you want to follow these celebrities wedding dresses, make sure to seek your designer’s aid in putting together fabric and materials that aren’t as costly as the real wedding dresses. You don’t need to splurge too much to get the look of a celeb on your wedding day.

The Bachelor, Jake Pavelka and his fiancée, Vienna Girardi will dance their last dance on the Dancing with the Stars finale and now it’s time to start planning their wedding. There has been much controversy with Vienna but Jake is standing firm with his love for her.

jake and vienna

What does the future hold for the Bachelor couple astrologically? What would be the perfect date for these two lovebirds to get married? Good question, so we asked Patty Kamson, Celebrity Astrologer to take a look at what the cosmos holds for Jake and Vienna in 2011.

Jake is a rebellious Aquarius and can fight for the one he loves. Vienna is a flirty chatty Gemini and can talk and manipulate her way into the heart of the one she loves. In traditional astrology, Aquarius and Gemini are a natural combination for love and friendship so they are ahead of the game in terms of compatibility.

When looking at good aspects for a 2011 wedding date for Jake and Vienna, the week of the Gemini New Moon eclipse on June 1st or June 3rd, 4th or 5th would be great days. New Moon Eclipses are about grand beginnings and planting seeds of intention for what you want to grow in the coming months and years. And what’s even better is that Vienna is a Gemini and it’s her one New Moon for 2011. What a great day to start a new married life together!

Whatever day Jake and Vienna chose to get married next year it will be perfect for them! For more astrology predictions, visit Patty Kamson’s web site.

Comedian David Walliams has married Dutch model Lara Stone at Claridge’s hotel in London.

The 38-year-old comedian and the Vogue cover girl, who is 12 years his junior, became engaged in January. They had been dating for about a year.

David Walliams and Lara Stone wedding

When two people get married their photo albums are usually filled with lovely pictures; the bride posing, the best man and ushers, guests, family and sometimes the odd cheeky one of someone sticking their tongue out. But when you’re a celeb getting married, your photo album gets a little more interesting… to say the least!

Saw the much talked about couple, Lara Stone and David Walliams, tying the knot at the gorgeous London hotel – Claridges. After the ceremony it was off to Shoreditch House, the covetable members club, to party into the wee hours. We all know by now that if you are a celebrity getting married, then you invite your celebrity friends. And this guest list was a long one!

Our very own Fearne Cotton provided the first DJ set for the couple. Other guests included Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, Walliams’ on and off screen friend Matt Lucas, funny man Russell Brand, Vernon Kay and Tess Daly (what a gorgeous couple!), another of ours – Denise Van Outen (looking super hot, especially considering she’s only just had a baby) with husband Lee and a rather dashing looking Alan Carr.

Hundreds of white roses and lots of delicious looking cupcakes arrived at Claridges hours before the guests arrived and Lara’s engagement ring is reported to be in the region of £100,000 and from Tiffany! We would have LOVED an invite, if only for the cupcakes!

The couple reportedly danced to Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson’s version of “Beauty and the Beast” for their first dance, reports Marie Claire.co.uk. “It sounds cheesy but it was actually a genuinely touching moment,” one onlooker told Britain’s Sun. The wedding, which cost an estimated 80,000 pounds also included an incredible synchronized swimming display in a rooftop pool!

what the bride wore. Lara donned a corseted gown in ivory washed silk satin, with lace and gold chain trimmed straps, all custom made for her by Ricardo Tisci for Givenchy Couture. Talk about a one-of-a-kind gown. As the happy couple left the reception at Claridge’s in London, however, the bride slipped into this glittering gold frock.

We think the wedding dress is so gorgeous — definitely fit for an A-list model, and we love the idea of changing into something short and sweet for your grand exit at the end of the night. What do you think, are you going to change into another fun frock at the end of the night? Take our poll and share your comments below!

Celebrities are known for having a big even studded with stars and diamonds. Stars as in their close friends in the industry and diamonds as most of the celebrity weddings have reported usage of diamond rings and the ones which are indeed very expensive.

When Melania Knauss married Donald Trump she was seen sporting and flaunting a ring worth $100, 000. It was a 15 carat emerald cut diamond engagement ring. Most of the famous and rich celebs have something or the other to flaunt but they surely make news when getting engaged and that too wearing a ring that has such a huge price tag attached to it.

When Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman got married the bride was seen flaunting a ring of well over $40,000, though nothing compared to the ring mentioned earlier, this wedding was also extravagant in its own unique style.

These celebrities have some piece of money which they would generously spend for their wedding. They would take efforts in going all the way and leaving no stone unturned. Wonder if they spend even enough amount of time to be the longest wed couple instead of the most expensively wed couple. Well their choice, they’ve got money, so they enjoy, especially the diamonds!

An interesting word that people will find when it comes to news reports on celebrity weddings is the word “elope.” This refers to how a couple quickly ran off somewhere to get married. This is something that is quickly become common among celebrity weddings. These secret weddings are notable for many reasons.

celebrity-secret-wedding

A secret wedding is a wedding that is going to be one that will not be promoted. It is something that is going to be known by only a handful of people. These include the two celebrities who are getting married, friends that are being trusted with the information and will be attending the wedding and the facility that is going to be handling the private wedding.

The main reason as to why a secret wedding is something that can be used by many celebrities comes from how it is a wedding that will not be publicized by any media outlets. A good example of this comes from how in 1985 the marriage between Madonna and Sean Penn was covered by a massive number of media outlets that were hovering all over the entire wedding site. This is something that put a good damper on the process.

In many cases it can be a real challenge for any celebrity couple to be able to get a good wedding going due to the attention that is going to be imposed onto them by the media. With a secret wedding this concern can be properly resolved for one’s needs.

In addition to this the wedding will be something that is going to be easier for the couple to handle. There will be no need to work on handling any invitations that will have to be sent out to people. This is great in that by not doing this the wedding will be one that can actually remain a secret.

A variety of celebrities have gone ahead with this type of wedding thanks to the many features of secret weddings. For example, in 2005 Renee Zellweger and Kenny Chesney both got married in a secret ceremony at the U.S. Virgin Islands. Although a few photos were taken this was after the announcement that the couple made regarding their marriage.

The popularity of secret weddings is something that is valuable for celebrities these days. These are weddings that will work in that celebrities can be married in a proper ceremony without the media pressure.

An interesting thing to know about celebrity weddings is that the materials that are used for these ceremonies are ones that can be very posh and luxurious. This is something that can be noticed through the wedding rings that can be handled by a couple in a celebrity wedding. The rings are ones that can be very luxurious and at the same time very expensive.

celebrity-wedding-ring

One interesting ring that has been featured in a celebrity wedding is a ring that was worn by Beyonce Knowles in her wedding to Jay-Z. Beyonce’s ring was set in platinum and featured an 18-carat gold diamond. This ring is one that was estimated to be worth about five million dollars.

Other rings that have come out of celebrity weddings are not as expensive but they are still incredibly valuable. One of the most notable types of rings that have been used in a celebrity comes from the marriage between Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. The ring for the bride here was a 10-carat marquise diamond with a 3.3-carat platinum design. This ring ended up costing around $65,000.

Another good ring to see is the ring owned by Kate Hudson in her marriage to Chris Robinson. Her ring is a 5-carat ring that features a unique art deco mounting that is very well detailed and is incredibly unique for people to see.

Even special types of gems can be used for wedding rings among celebrities. The ring that was used in the marriage between Princess Diana and Prince Charles was one that features a large sapphire gem that was encased along a series of smaller diamonds. The diamond that was worn by Camilla Parker Bowles, on the other hand, featured an emerald diamond.

Of course it should be noted that celebrity wedding rings have been incredibly unique rings well before today’s celebrity rings came out. A good example comes from the ring that Joe DiMaggio gave to Marilyn Monroe for her wedding. The ring that Monroe had was one that featured thirty-five baguette diamonds along a platinum base.

These celebrity wedding rings are some of the most intriguing rings to see. These are ones that are feature some of the most impressive designs in the world and have been used by celebrities from all generations. These are fashionable but they are expensive enough to where it can be difficult for the ring to be affordable by just anyone.

Wedding Hair Styles 2010

Posted by admin On May - 10 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS Subscribe here

There is no right or wrong to hairstyles this year but there is a rule of thumb to follow…and that is selecting a hairstyle that is complimentary to your gown and to your face.

This year’s hairstyles include both short and long hair. There is plenty of time before the wedding to play around with your hair a bit so start in advance to have the perfect style for the big day.

spring-bridal-hairstyle

This year the colors are bright and bold. There is pure elegance in weddings of 2010. With the many additions of colors in the bride dresses, the bride has even more selection of style with her hair. This gives the bride a chance to play around with the color of her hair a bit. For instance if you choose a dress that is accented with teal then a shade of copper for your hair may be absolutely stunning.

Style is important as well. Should you wear your hair up or down, add flowers or beautiful hairpieces, or should you have a veil? If you are wearing a veil then you will want your hair style to work with your veil. The best advice here is to take your veil to your hairstylist a few months before the wedding and work with them on different ideas.

To ensure that you have the best style for you, take several photographs of styels that you like and take them to your stylist. Bring a friend or ask the stylist to take a picture of you so that you can “capture” what you look like in the style.

Another trend for 2010 is long hair jewelry, which looks absolutely beautiful. Again, take the jewelry to your hairstylist and have them play around with it with different styles.

Another consideration of the big day, is your attendants. By all means, do not forget to discuss hairstyles with them. It is very important that the attendants are properly accentuated as well, and that they look as wonderful as they possibly can. If you have an attendant in the wedding party that is known for “quick and natural” doos, then you just might want to take her with you to your stylist. This is your big day, and everything needs to be perfect, including the wedding party. Good luck and remember to experiment. Normally, there are months prior to the wedding, which leaves plenty of time to find the best hairstyle for you.
