Actress Kim Hee Sun of the South Korea origin blissfully exchanged wedding vows with Park Ju-Young. She is still considered as the No.1 beauty star in Korea. Her wedding gown had been the question in the paparazzi from a long time and when it was revealed she looked stunningly beautiful and ravishing in the white strapless piece.

The white gown looked like it was a truly made piece only for the young actress. Notable and famous wedding dress designer Andre Kim was the designer for her wedding gown. It has been reported that they are long time friends and hence it was no big news when we came across, actually people already had spectaculated about the dress designer an some of them also put up pictures of famous wedding Andre gowns in which they would like their favorite actress to be in.

After so much of interest showed by the fans, Kim Hee Sun, herself came forward and gave out her pictures on one of the blog site which later ended all the imaginations and brought the real beatific gown that would best suit her. The fabric mostly was the chiffon and the bridal silk fabric material, however, not many details have been revealed about it.

Well many would think that marriage is a ceremony held only in churches, but considering the habits of our celebrities to make it big and exclusive; this is not the only place where they get married. Hollywood couples feel that they can pop the ‘I Do’ wherever they want provided they have the emotions and feelings attached.

Said that, there are celebs who want the media attention and when the wedding takes place in any of the plush hotels in the US then the paparazzi is bound to follow. However, you cannot rule out the possibility of couples like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes who preferred a low key wedding down in Italy just because they wanted it to be a completely private affair and leave the paparazzi completely out.

Probably a hotel would be the best suited place for celebs, but other than that the creative planners of the celebrity weddings also give them an option of the remotest place where they can make it big and give all the decorations a completely personal touch and so on.

Apart from that single resort islands are also places where celebs love to take vows.

In the year 2000, Brad Pitt exchanged vows with Jennifer Aniston in a plush wedding ceremony which took place at the estate of producer Marcy Carsey’s Malibu mansion. The wedding was considered as the best wedding of the year especially in terms of the designer attire that the couple wore. This wedding reportedly cost somewhere around $1 million.

Jennifer walked down the aisle on the arm of her father, in a Lawrence Steele wedding dress. The Milan designer; designed a floor length white silk tulle halter neck dress. The dress was embedded with minute pearl work throughout and made Jennifer look like a true princess. Brad was also no less good looking in the Hedi Slimane tuxedo jacket. There was a little disappointment for the overall designer town as the jacket was worn with a straight rather than a bow.

The wedding took a grand turn with the fireworks display and also the guest invitees which were almost 200 in number. The guest list included names such as Cameron Diaz, Courtney Cox, Salma Hayek and Edward Norton.

After the lavish wedding the couple left for their honeymoon at the Fregate Island in Seychelles.

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman exchanged vows in a truly fairy tale wedding and theirs was a wedding that was remembered for a long time by all the guests present at the event.

On the 25th of June, 2006 their wedding took place in North Sydney at the Cardinal Cerretti memorial Chapel. The Chapel was decorated with bundles of white freesias, gardenias and carnations, the view overlooked the Pacific Ocean and the Sydney harbor.

Father Paul Coleman, who was originally a Jesuit priest and also a family friend for the couple’s family for the past 30 years, was the solemnized and performed the necessary priestly duties at the candle lit ceremony with 1000 candles held after sundown.

Nicole’s father in a traditional way walked her down the aisle and the surrounding music was that of a quartet from the orchestra of Sydney Symphony. The very honorable thing that Nicole and Keith did for the wedding was, they asked all their guests to shower no gifts but instead requested the 230 guests to donate money to the Sydney Children’s Hospital.

Guest list included Naomi Watts, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Meryl Streep and many more close friends and relatives.

The wedding between Kaka and Caroline Celico took place at the Reborn in Christ Church in December of 2005. This is a church in Sao Paulo that has been supported by Kaka well before his wedding. He continues to support it today in its rebuilding efforts.

The Reborn in Christ Church is an evangelical church in the heart of Sao Paulo. It was first built in 1986 by Estevam and Sonia Hernandes. The church has been able to stay popular among people despite the Hernandes’ lack of involvement in the church in recent years.

The church is one that is very large in its size. This size is used as a means of helping to make sure that it will be able to handle the massive demand for masses in the church. It is estimated that at least a million people come to worship at the church on a weekly basis.

There are many other services that have been offered by the Reborn in Christ Church. The church has its own television station in Rede Gospel. A couple of radio stations are also owned by the church.

Kaka works to help with supporting the church on a regular basis. It is estimated that he donates ten percent of his annual salary from AC Milan to the church. This value is about six hundred thousand pounds. He even donated his 2007 FIFA World Player of the Year trophy to the Reborn in Christ Chruch.

Tragedy recently struck the church. In January 2009 the roof of the church collapsed during a mass. Nine people were killed in the collapse and about a hundred other people who were in the church at the time were wounded.

Kaka has lent a hand to help with getting this church to be rebuilt. He is continuing to offer much of his salary to the church to assist in its ongoing rebuilding effort. His is also interested in working to handle further services with the church after his playing career ends.

The Reborn in Christ Church is a notable facility that was home to the wedding for Kaka and his lover. The church is a large one that is very powerful in the Sao Paulo area. It recently suffered a massive setback in the collapse of its roof but it is still a powerful church to this day. Kaka is working to help with making sure that the church is rebuilt.

Back in the year 2006, Nicole Kidman married Keith Urban in a truly fairy tale wedding ceremony. The thing that added an extra zing to the whole wedding was the ravishingly beautiful Nicole in her wedding gown.

Leading French Designer, Nicolas Ghesquiere, who is the creative director of Paris Fashion House Balenciaga, had designed her dress for the d- day. The beautiful looking gown was of the romantic ivory color, with one shouldered puff sleeve. All the fabric was made of silk and had the ruffled embroidered and organza fabric looks because of the overall stylization. The gown had a beautifully pleated empire style Cornelli lacework.

Her look was thoroughly complimented with the bunch of white flowers that she held while walking down the aisle. The gown actually made her look like a complete fairy in true sense of the word.

Well, though the tag of the four specially made custom dresses for Nicole was not leaked out in the market but sources claim that the design and the amount of minute attention paid to every detail on the gown must have cost her about a million dollar, but it was definitely totally worth it!

After a plush wedding and supposedly the Fairy Tale theme, the couple did enjoy each and every moment of their lovely wedding day. After the wedding they took the jet to fly out to Tahiti for a private honeymoon and most importantly for a honeymoon out of the eyes of paparazzi. In fact, it has been said that Nicole and Keith were the first guests of the royal estate over water luxury bungalow at the St. Regis Resort in Bora Bora, located at French Polynesia.

The room rates per night in here, is around $15,000 per night. However, Kidman and Urban was also not the lone couple there. Longoria and Parker also landed in Bora Bora minutes after their flight and hence the entire resort was taken to completely strict security and there were patrolling carried out to ensure privacy for the couple’s located there and the paparazzi was the only thing that had to be kept miles away from the resort.

The bungalow in which the newlywed Kidman and urban stayed was equipped with a Jacuzzi and a private pool to offer them complete luxury. No matter they were reported to have spent most of the time inside the bungalow only.

Well, considering that Lady Gaga does everything in her own very unique style, it is apparent that if we hear the wedding bells then we will be taken by surprise by her planning’s and entire ceremony. Until sometime now, she has been repeatedly saying that she doesn’t wish to get married and music and art is all that she wants for her entire life.

Well we have certainly come across many celebs that just run away from marriages because of their personal reasons; some have faced terrible betrayal in their personal relationships and hence would not opt for marriage. But things change and we hope Lady Gaga changes her mind too. It would be super exciting to see what she will bring new to us, considering that she had the power to pull off a Lolita dress when she met the Queen of England!

If there were awards for the best wedding of the year, then the winners would certainly be Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes for their Scientology wedding ceremony. We certainly know that Tom and Katie both like to remain in the limelight and hence much of the wedding details had been leaked out for the paparazzi. Tom has been looking into everything personally, right from the designing of his bride’s gown to the menu listed for the wedding.

When you say about the actual wedding Scientology ceremony, it lasted for a mere 15 minutes but yeah, the wedding kiss seemed like it would never end…! Finally after a long three minutes, guests starts prompting them. After the kiss, the magnificent fireworks took place and the whole fiftieth century Odescalchi Castle in Italy shined with the eruption of fireworks.

Tom cruise himself sung the song “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling”, though it was pretty odd for him to sing this at his own wedding. Also, it is said that Tom and Katie had been married at an unknown date in their Beverly Hills Mansion in Los Angeles, before this wedding at Italy. Also, it is said that the scientologist weddings are not preferred in Italy.
