Bringing his close friends together for a special occasion, Billy Boyd tied the knot with long-time girlfriend, Ali McKinnon, in Glasgow, London on Wednesday (December 29).
The “Lord of the Rings” star had his good buddies and co-stars, Elijah Wood and Dominic Monaghan, right by his side for the momentous day.
Boyd and McKinnon met back in 2002 and have a 4-year-old son, Jack, also having been living together in Glasgow’s West End for several years.
Wedding coordinator, Louise Turner, told press that the ceremony had only about 30 people and the reception was planned for about 160 guests. “It’s not a massive bash, and it will be quite intimate,” Turner said.
