Through her connections and membership of student societies, she has been able promote events with contributions to charitable causes.

The ring Prince used to make an offer of marriage is the same sapphire diamond ring which was once used by his father, reported by stylist.com. Prince said to the press, “This ring is special for me, as well as Kate. So it is perfect to put them together”

The wedding is at hand, many things have to be prepared. Only wedding dress has make a stir in the field of fashion. It was once said that Princess Kate’s wedding dress will be designed by the designer who was once the wedding dress designer for Diana Spencer. But according to the resent news, it has been changed to an unknown designer. Who will be the designer? Let’s wait for the wedding.

Czech supermodel Petra Nemcova, who announced her engagement to British actor Jamie Belman last month, already has an idea of what she wants her wedding to be like.

“Part of it will be more formal and part of it will be just lots of fun and just craziness,” Petra tells Us magazine. “We want a little bit of craziness.”

The model stayed tight-lipped on what exactly the “craziness” would be, but did say that the wedding would likely be held in England. “We’re still figuring out which specific place will be the best,” says Petra, 31. She added that they’re thinking the wedding will be about 150 people, but that they’re mainly going for a low-key vibe.

Of course, the fashionista does have one item already figured out: her wedding dress. “My dress will be Marchesa!” she says, adding that an outfit change (or two) might be in store. “It’s so beautiful and elegant.”

She’s been engaged since August 2009, but Shedding for the Wedding host Sara Rue is only now getting around to wedding planning, reports People.com.

The Jenny Craig spokesperson, who is engaged to Kevin Price, a teacher, says that “It’s going really well all of a sudden.” This could be in part because she’s hired amazing wedding and event planner, Rachel Hollis from Chic Events to help her out.

The host, who’s show premieres on Feb. 23, said she’s hoping for a wedding that is “eclectic yet elegant” with an “intimate reception. What she doesn’t want? Nothing “ostentatious and over-the-top, the star tells People.com.

No word yet on when the actual wedding date will be.

SIENNA Miller is reportedly planning a hippy-style wedding.

The stunning actress is set to tie the knot with actor Jude Law later this year and she is planning to have a ceremony in Dorset, South West England, where she will wear flowers in her hair and pay homage to her laid-back style.

“Jude’s given her a ring for Christmas, as well as a new house, and he intends to make her a bride this summer,” a source said.

“She’s going for a ‘hippy-style flowers-in-your-hair’ wedding. She wants it to be in a small church in the English countryside with Jude’s children taking part in the ceremony. It will probably be in Dorset or Devon.”

Sienna, 29, and Jude — who has three children, Rafferty, 14, Iris, 10, and eight-year-old Rudy with ex-wife Sadie Frost — rekindled their romance in late 2009 after splitting in 2006 following revelations the ‘Alfie’ star had cheated on her with the children’s nanny.

As well as planning their wedding, the couple have recently splashed out on a north London mansion, and Sienna is keen for them to have a baby together to make their family complete.

“Sienna has decided that this will be the home that she has children in. There is a room for each of Jude’s children and room for a new baby,” the source added.

As well as his children with Sadie, Jude also has a 15-month-old daughter Sophia from a brief relationship with Samantha Burke.

Bringing his close friends together for a special occasion, Billy Boyd tied the knot with long-time girlfriend, Ali McKinnon, in Glasgow, London on Wednesday (December 29).

The “Lord of the Rings” star had his good buddies and co-stars, Elijah Wood and Dominic Monaghan, right by his side for the momentous day.

Boyd and McKinnon met back in 2002 and have a 4-year-old son, Jack, also having been living together in Glasgow’s West End for several years.

Wedding coordinator, Louise Turner, told press that the ceremony had only about 30 people and the reception was planned for about 160 guests. “It’s not a massive bash, and it will be quite intimate,” Turner said.

Prince William could soon be hearing wedding bells — and this time they won’t be his own. Zara Phillips, the cousin to the Prince, has announced her engagement after a sever year romance to rugby player Mike Tindall, reports the Daily Mail.

Zara, an international event rider, is not a Princess and does not take the title Her Royal Highness because her mother decided she wanted her children to have more normal lives. she is not required to perform royal duties and instead makes her own money and keeps a lower profile overall. Just in case you’re having trouble keeping it all straight: Zara is the daughter of Princess Anne, and therefore granddaughter to Queen Elizabeth (which means her maternal uncle is Prince Charles, making William and Harry are her first cousins).

Kelsey Grammar and his girlfriend, Kayte Walsh are engaged, the actor’s rep confirmed Tuesday las week. The actor, who would be walking down the aisle for the fourth time, is allegedly still not entirely divorced from his third wife. “They got engaged a while ago, but because no announcement was made to the media, I do not have the exact date,” Kelsey’s rep tells the NY Daily News. Kelsey, 55, is still in the midst of divorcing his wife, Camille Donatacci, a member of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” reality TV show. Kelsey had been spotted out with Kayte, a 29-year-old British airline attendant, a number of times before his rep confirmed the two were an item. In August, Kelsey confirmed the two were expecting, although Kayte tragically miscarried a few months later. The tragedy seems to have made the couple stronger; says Kelsey’s rep, “All I know is that they are very happy.”

Though Ali Fedotowsky admits that she nearly had a quickie Vegas wedding with her fiance of seven months, The Bachelorette star says that the two are still on for a real wedding sometime next year. Ali will spend Christmas in Tampa, Florida, with her fiance, Roberto Martinez and his family; and try to focus on the upcoming nuptials. “I’ve been looking at a lot of wedding things and I’m always like, ‘That looks tacky,’” Ali tells Us magazine. A few things have been decided, though. Ali wants her bridesmaids to wear yellow, and the bridal party will include “my sister, his sister definitely,” says Ali. “And then I have a couple good friends in my life. The Madden-Richie wedding is this weekend and Nicole downsized the guest list because she prefers to have a smaller, more intimate wedding. According to RADAROnline.com, this has ticked off some of her celebrity friends. Wah! Sorry celebs, for once it’s not about YOU. It’s about the bride and groom!

After the birth of their first child, Harlow Winter, Joel Madden knew he would marry Nicole Richie. In September 2007 he told Ryan Seacrest: “Obviously, marriage is in our future. Nicole Richie is planning to marry Joel Madden at her father’s house. The socialite, who has a two-year-old daughter Harlow and 14-month-old son Sparrow with her fiance, will reportedly tie the knot in the garden of her singer dad Lionel Richie’s Beverly Hills home early next month.

A source said: “Christmas has always been about family and faith for Nicole and Joel, so there is no better time of the year for them to wed.”

According to the insider, the couple will be joined at her dad’s home by 75 of their closest friends and family, including DJ Samantha Ronson and singer Christina Aguilera, who is rumored to be performing after the ceremony, for the service.

Harlow will be flower girl for her parents at the wedding, while Nicole’s best friend Masha Gordon will be maid of honor and Joel’s twin brother Benji will be best man.

The couple have been dating for four years and got engaged in February this year. They will then spend the festive season with their families before jetting off for their first holiday as newlyweds.

Lionel, who formally adopted Nicole when she was nine years old, has previously spoken of his delight with the impact Joel has had on his daughter’s life.

On Friday in Texas Tony Parker filed for divorce from Eva Longoria just two days after Eva did so in Los Angeles. It looks like the Eva Longoria Tony Parker divorce is going to get nasty since Parker filed his own papers in Texas citing discord or conflict of personalities. That means the courts will have to decide which state has jurisdiction. California requires up to six months before the end of marriage is final, while Texas can rush things through ending a marriage in as little as two months. However both states are community property states so that at least makes one aspect of this whole situation a easier.

The fact that Tony has decided to countersue is a good indication that this is going to be one nasty split starting with is there a pre-nup or not? Accoding to RadarOnline Eva’s papers reference one however Tony’s do not. One thing that is certain to be center of the court proceedings with or without a pre-nup is Tony’s new $50 million four year contract with the San Antonio Spurs, especially since Eva is seeking spousal support no doubt she will want the contract included as community property.

Tony Parker divorce papers filed in Texas is the latest news to come out of his split from Eva Longoria. Although reports are saying Parker is hoping for an amicable split his latest move kind of proves otherwise. I have a feeling given Tony’s actions, which I would assume came out of advice from his legal counsel, things are going to get pretty darn ugly before the marraige of Longoria and Parker is officially over.
