Celebrity Wedding Bar

While my parents had to work in the city and couldn’t pay enough attention on a ten-year-old girl, I was sent to live with my grandma Helen in the countryside for the whole summer. My grandma Helen has been sullen since my grandpa died of heart disease last year, so my mom hoped I could be a good companion for this poor old woman.

To begin with, everything went well as I anticipated. I spent the morning in a nearby park for jogging, the noon reading at home, and the dusk in swimming in a clear lake. What’s more, the neighboring girls became friends of mine very soon; consequently we had a lot of fun together. One day I was invited to visit the neighbors’ house, after enjoying a palatable dinner the girls showed their pictures to me. One impressed me most was their mom wearing a silky V-neck wedding dress standing in a church with a bunch of baby-breath. To be blunt, their mom looked absolutely nice in that wedding ceremony!

Returning to my home, I found my grandma was sitting on her sofa with a glass of icy juice in one hand and an album in another, and I saw her smile in place of frown. When noticing I was standing still in the living room, she asked me to sit with her and had a look at her album. With gladness and caution I started to turn it over. My grandma must have observed my exaggerated expression before she pointed at the lady who was wearing a pure white v-neck wedding dress in the picture, “This is me and this handsome young man is your grandpa, I can never forget that day and your grandpa.” my grandma said. I couldn’t help telling her how charming she was when wearing the V-neck wedding dress with sheer sleeves. She really lost herself in thinking about the memorable moments and telling me her experiences so we went to bed rather late that night.

I got to know much more funny stories about my grandpa from my grandma’s words the rest of that summer, and doubtlessly my companion had an active influence on her so that her hope and confidence came back again!
