Dave Annable and Odette Yustman were married this weekend in Ojai, California in front of 215 of their friends and family.

Dave’s Brothers and Sisters co-star Ron Rifkin officiated the outdoor ceremony while his TV brother, Matthew Rhys, served as his best man.

According to Us Weekly, the bride, who can currently be seen co-starring with Sigourney Weaver in You Again, wore a Monique Lhuillier gown, Dave wore a DKNY suit and they walked down the aisle to All You Need Is Love by the Beatles, a song which was also used to great effect during the wedding in Love Actually (how good is that movie?).

“I feel like the luckiest man ever,” Annable, 31, told the tabloid, which will be running full “behind the scenes” coverage of the wedding this week. “I married my best friend and I could not be happier.”

“I feel so lucky!” Yustman, 25, seconded. “It’s so cool.”

This is a first marriage for both actors. Annable was previously linked to his Brothers and Sisters co-star Emily VanCamp, whom he dated and lived with before hooking up with Odette. Interestingly, Emily decided to leave the show this year. Some people say it was a budgetary issue, VanCamp claimed in interviews it was a creative decision since she felt her character had “run its course,” but we’re gonna go ahead and put green money on it being too weird to play husband and wife with her ex-boyfriend now that he’d moved on and gotten engaged to another woman. Not that we blame her.

Regardless, congratulations to Odette and Dave! Now just don’t work together and everything should work out just fine.

2. Liza Minnelli and David Gest

This couple’s nuptials averaged about $3.5 million dollars in March of 2002. The maid of honor was Elizabeth Taylor while the best man was Michael Jackson. This wedding ceremony included musical performances by Tony Bennett and Natalie Cole. The ceremony took place at a church in New York and there were over 1,000 guests present to make this one of the most expensive weddings.

3. Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise

In November 2006 Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes got married in the beautiful Odescalchi Castle that is located just outside of Rome. Katie Holmes had a custom wedding dress made for her by the famous designer Georgio Armani, as well as Tom Cruise’s tux and their entire wedding party. The total estimated cost of the fabulous wedding totaled in at $2 million dollars. This included all of the food, a firework display and drinks. Opera singer Andrea Bocelli performed a musical performance at the couple’s wedding as well.

4. Arun Nayar and Elizabeth

This couple’s wedding spanned over an amazing 8 day period on two different continents. They married in March of 2007 and the price tag for this wedding was around $2.5 million dollars. Hurley’s dress was custom designed by Donatella Versace and their wedding took place in the beautiful place of Sudeley Caastle located in Umaid Bhawan. The second part of this couple’s wedding was taken place at the Palace in Joshpur, India where a traditional Hindu ceremony was underway.

5. Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren

This match made in heaven couple married in late 2004 at the Sandy Lane Golf resort. Golf pro Tiger Woods married model turned nanny Elin and their wedding estimated at $1.5 million dollars. They rented out the whole resort for the week to ensure they had privacy which made this wedding one of the most expensive ones to date.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie – estimated cost $1.5 million

$70,000 was spent on bodyguards alone for this star studded ceremony. Madonna wore an $80,000 Stella McCartney gown for their wedding in a sprawling Scottish castle, along with an antique tiara once worn by Princess Grace of Monaco. They spent $200,000 on fireworks (that’s four times as much as Tiger), and yet for some reason daughter Lourdes led the wedding procession in bare feet.

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston – estimated cost $1 million

As the golden couple of Hollywood, this was set to be the wedding of the year, although Brad and Jen were keen to keep it intimate and private and are rumored to have required all staff involved with the event sign a confidentiality agreement. Paul McCartney and Heather Mills – estimated cost $3 million

Paul and Heather married in Ireland in 2002. She wore a dress which the lace for alone cost $10,000, and the guests were treated to an Indian themed reception and a vegetarian feast. As Heather walked down the aisle, a song Paul had penned especially for her on the big day (somewhat unimaginatively titled “Heather”) was played.

If anything, the fact that these marriages all failed after some of the most elaborate weddings in modern history goes to show that it is the couple involved and their love for each other that matters, rather than having a really big firework display.
