Czech supermodel Petra Nemcova, who announced her engagement to British actor Jamie Belman last month, already has an idea of what she wants her wedding to be like.

Petra Nemcova

“Part of it will be more formal and part of it will be just lots of fun and just craziness,” Petra tells Us magazine. “We want a little bit of craziness.”

The model stayed tight-lipped on what exactly the “craziness” would be, but did say that the wedding would likely be held in England. “We’re still figuring out which specific place will be the best,” says Petra, 31. She added that they’re thinking the wedding will be about 150 people, but that they’re mainly going for a low-key vibe.

Of course, the fashionista does have one item already figured out: her wedding dress. “My dress will be Marchesa!” she says, adding that an outfit change (or two) might be in store. “It’s so beautiful and elegant.”

A lot of stars tied the noose in 2010. Probably to get divorced in 2011. I wonder how many of them signed prenups?

Odette Yustman marries Dave Annable

Posted by admin On October - 18 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS Subscribe here

Dave Annable and Odette Yustman were married this weekend in Ojai, California in front of 215 of their friends and family.

Dave’s Brothers and Sisters co-star Ron Rifkin officiated the outdoor ceremony while his TV brother, Matthew Rhys, served as his best man.

Odette Yustman and Dave Annable

According to Us Weekly, the bride, who can currently be seen co-starring with Sigourney Weaver in You Again, wore a Monique Lhuillier gown, Dave wore a DKNY suit and they walked down the aisle to All You Need Is Love by the Beatles, a song which was also used to great effect during the wedding in Love Actually (how good is that movie?).

“I feel like the luckiest man ever,” Annable, 31, told the tabloid, which will be running full “behind the scenes” coverage of the wedding this week. “I married my best friend and I could not be happier.”

“I feel so lucky!” Yustman, 25, seconded. “It’s so cool.”

This is a first marriage for both actors. Annable was previously linked to his Brothers and Sisters co-star Emily VanCamp, whom he dated and lived with before hooking up with Odette. Interestingly, Emily decided to leave the show this year. Some people say it was a budgetary issue, VanCamp claimed in interviews it was a creative decision since she felt her character had “run its course,” but we’re gonna go ahead and put green money on it being too weird to play husband and wife with her ex-boyfriend now that he’d moved on and gotten engaged to another woman. Not that we blame her.

Regardless, congratulations to Odette and Dave! Now just don’t work together and everything should work out just fine.

Those of you teeny boppers who have had dreams about marrying curly-mop topped Jonas Brother Kevin Jonas, sorry to say it but the eldest JoBro is going through with his marriage. I know, devastating to everyone but Danielle Deleasa, his bride-to-be. This weekend the wedding is set to take place. Read more about the wedding details here. Hint: It involves a castle.

It’s been hush-hush until now, but it has been revealed that Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa will be tying the knot this weekend in a rather lavish affair. Let’s hope he signed a prenuptial agreement! (And Kevin, if you didn’t, there IS still time.) The wedding details are minimal, but from what we do know, it sounds as if it will be one big fat Disney reunion.

Twenty two year olds Kevin and Danielle will get hitched on Saturday evening, December 19th, 2009. And tonight, December 18th, 2009 there will be a rehearsal dinner held at a local New York roller-skating rink. After the fun of a night on skates, Saturday will be the day when the love birds will marry on a private Long Island estate.

Attendants have not yet been revealed, although we do know that both Joe and Nick Jonas will serve as best men for their brother. While there aren’t details on times or exact wedding party attendants, we received word from Radar Online that Demi Lovato is set to attend. Rumor has it that Lovato is smooching up on Joe Jonas.

As for the most important part of the evening for guests, we know that attendees can choose from sea bass, filet mignon, chicken or a veggie tart.

The engagement was announced in July of 2009 and the world was all a buzz. “Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle Deleasa for her hand in marriage. Her answer was yes and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is very dear to us and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our families celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Thank you for all of your support.”

Once we receive more Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa wedding details we will keep you updated! All I have to say is Kevin better be serenading his bride-to-be or I’m going to be disappointed!

Today, most eyes are glued on celebrities, their ever move is being watched. Given that, there is no need to wonder why celebrities get married in very impressive ways. The press feasts on celebrity weddings, every single detail of the event is analyzed, from the location to the invited guests and to the designer of the bride and the bridal party’s dresses. Celebrity wedding gowns can be one of the most complex gowns on the planet, top designers go all out on celebrity wedding gowns to keep their place in the fashion industry safe and sound.

Designing a Celebrity Wedding Gown

Most celebrity wedding gowns are hand-made to ensure that the dress fits the bride perfectly, it is styled in very original ways which guarantees the bride to have a real one-of-a-kind dress, and certainly no one else can have. More often than not, the dress contains precious gems and is carefully hand stitched by skilled seamstresses. celebrity wedding gowns would often carry the ides of the celebrities themselves, it’s either because they’ve already spotted a nice design but just wants to add a personal touch to it or they know the basic style they want for their dress. But most of the celebrities lay it all on the designer, trusting the designer’s choices because they believe that the designer knows what’s best for them in terms of skin coloring, palettes and body shape.

We regularly see celebrity wedding gowns in magazines or on television, those dresses costs a fortune, ranging from ten thousand US dollars and above. The reason for having such a huge price tag is because every aspect of the dress is handmade, it takes approximately six months to finish, depending on how intricate the design is. The more complex the design gets, the more expensive it becomes. Many of the celebrity wedding gowns include pearls, diamonds, and a lot or other precious stones hand-sewn on the dress, making it even more expensive. The uniqueness and the lavish nature of these dresses are probably the main reason why these gowns are considered to be prized possessions by socialites and celebrities.

Acquiring Celebrity Wedding Gowns

A lot of women idolize the styles of celebrity wedding gowns and would constantly dream about having that lovely dress within the palms of their hands. That dream can be turned into reality; there are a bunch of options to help you grab that celebrity dress. A few wedding apparel retailers sell replicas of celebrity wedding gowns to quench those hopefuls’ thirsts. These replicas aren’t as detailed as the original ones worn by the celebrity, think of it as a spin-off, only a lot cheaper. Dresses like these usually costs $5,000 or less, compared with the originals…that’s definitely cheaper! Don’t worry about the dress, it still somehow looks like the real one because it has a lot of beading and faux gemstones, as opposed to the original ones, they are mass produced which can reduce the quality and the uniqueness but it sure can lower the price!

Celebrity weddings are a world a wide attention grabber, with most of them being expensive, covered by the media, and often involved on some controversy or other. Most Celebrity weddings are held at scenic locales, or in castles, or on enchanting beaches etc. but no matter where it is held, these weddings definitely hold the attention of most media and celebrity fans.

Celebrity weddings are more often than not, extremely lavish, extravagant events, with the celebrity couple spending on clothes, the wedding venue, the food & drink, and sometimes also for media attention. The recent Wayne Rooney wedding is rumoured to be the most expensive ever, with an estimated cost of about £5 million. The wedding party consists private jets to fly guests to the supposed venue, wedding rings costing £100,000, stags and hens for decorations, an elaborate Durazzo Villa in the country of Italy, and also as a gift to each guest a box of rare butterflies for them to release into the air.

celebrity wedding in Luttrellstown Castle

In July 1999, another big celebrity wedding took place in Dublin at the Luttrellstown Castle. The wedding cost less than the Rooney wedding, but was grand nevertheless. Following a small family wedding, the guests, dressed in black & white, were given lavish meals with rose champagne and toffee pudding as dessert. Victoria Adams was dressed in a satin gown, and both the celebrities let loose white dives into the sky afterwards, followed by a lovely fireworks display.

Celebrity weddings often tend to set a benchmark for normal weddings. Many couples nowadays are going by the kind of weddings their favourite celebrity had, and taking the affordable sections from those, fit them into their own wedding plan. However, this can get slightly rough at times, because the exuberant costs of celebrity weddings might not be affordable by the common folks, what with mere wedding gowns of a celebrity being around £200,000.

When we think about weddings, the fascination of popular celebrity ceremonies and how they manage their ‘special day’. With all of their seemingly unlimited resources and connections celebrity weddings continue to hold our attention. We can’t help but compare notes, look for inspiration, or in the case of something going wrong, cringe in horror.

Believe it or not, Robot Chicken creator and executive producer Seth Green has tied the knot! On Saturday, May 1st Mr. Green and actress and model Clare Grant were married. Truly, in the spirit of their comic culture, the 2 were married on the George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch in Northern California, just outside of San Francisco.

Seth Green has truly made a name for himself with the Emmy-winning series Robot Chicken and also as being the voice of Chris on Family Guy. He’s also set to star in the upcoming Disney feature Mars Needs Moms scheduled to be released March of 2011.
Clare Grant, 30, was adorned with a beautiful and tiered Oscar de la Renta gown. Seth Green, 36, had a sharp, tailored and custom-made Dennis Kim suit. They both had beautifully crafted engagement and wedding rings from the well-known Barry Jay Jewelers. Both the bride and the groom sang praises and gave thanks to their jewelry designer Tarina Tarantino.

Clare Grant has been in a large number of indie films. She starred in the MTV series of $5 Cover as well as Johnny Cash’s backstage lady in the Academy-Award winning movie Walk the Line.

Among the large amount of guests was, self acclaimed ‘buddy’ of Seth Green, was Weird All Yankovic. All in good fun, Al tweeted: “Just watched my buddy Seth Green married. Beautiful wedding. Much love to him and his lovely bride Clare.” He also acted as one of the couple’s witnesses.

The two of them met early in 2007 but they didn’t start dating until well into 2008. Their relationship eventually led them to a proposal on New Year’s Eve. Right now the two of them are simply enjoying marital bliss. They made a public statement, saying, “We can’t believe we found each other, we’ve never been happier!”

Let’s hope for the best with these too. Though, like NASCAR fans at a race, most people are waiting for someone to hit the wall. However, as much as the general public seems to revel in finding out about marriage-breaking acts or short marriages, we really and sincerely do wish them well.

Little in this world is as glamorous and elegant as a celebrity’s wedding dress. There is a reason that top fashion experts and popular wedding dress designers fight their hardest for the chance to have their product lines modeled by the lofty, well-known individuals that we all look up to. A celebrity does as much for the elegance and want of the design as the flowing cloth of the dress does for the celebrity.

celebrity designer wedding dresses

Monique Lhuillier is one of the companies that has had the privilege of dressing some of the most popular starlets of our time. Wherever the royal red carpet is rolled out, chances are, one of Monique Lhuillier’s designs can be found there. Rock and Roll bad girl Pink dawned an ivory white and black gown, Lost actress Emilie de Ravin wore a beautiful lacy and elegant long gown and both of Britney Spears’s dresses were designed by Monique Lhuillier.

In her wedding to Kevin Federline, Britney Spears also requested that her five burgundy bridesmaids dressed also be tailored by Lhuillier. Shortly after creating both of Britney’s dresses, bridesmaids gowns, and both the bride’s and groom’s mothers dresses, Monique Lhuillier also designed Christine Baumgartner’s gown for her wedding in 2004 to actor Kevin Costner.

Another famous designer to the stars is a company that specializes in evening wear and an old but modern look to their designs. Badgley Mischka is a frequent request of not only celebrity weddings but also formal dress for the Oscars. Madonna and Calista Flockhart have often been dressed in Mischka’s finest styles and these elegant designs have even been graced by the Bush twins’ gowns for the Inaugural Ball.

For decades Badgley Mischka has been a leader in celebrity dress. Their beautifully beaded embroidery and traditional 1940’s mixed with the flamboyance of today’s styles have also been provided to actresses such as Trista Rehn, Jada Pinkett Smith, Tori Spelling and Carmen Electra.

Our final stylish focus of the day is the fabulous and intricate designs of one; Vera Wang. Opening their luxurious business in the 1990’s, their first fashion show was made exclusively of their wedding collection.

Perhaps the most well-known wearer of her designs is Jenifer Lopez. However, she is hardly the only one to wear the elegance of a Vera Wang dress. Jessica Simpson, Mariah Carey, Holly Hunter, Sharon Stone, Karenna Gore and the extravagant Uma Thurman have all been clients of a beautiful and custom made dress of Vera Wang.

Fairytale Weddings

Celebrity weddings have always had a knack for attracting attention to them, and we spectators can’t say that we don’t enjoy seeing them. We’re fascinated when it comes to the weddings (or anything else) of those individuals who seem to have a financial reservoir at their disposal. Sadly, as fans in a NASCAR even, we also like knowing when and how celebrity marriages can go wrong.

fairytale wedding

The wedding of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston might be a little bit of old news but there were some interesting things that happened that you might not have been aware of. Pitt didn’t want just any set of rings at his wedding. He had the rings made in his own design; this includes engagement along with wedding rings.

The rings were made out of white gold with 18 carats of diamonds throughout the design. Oddly enough, this wasn’t the first time he had designed something like this. Brad Pitt had also given Gwyneth Paltrow a similar one when they had been engaged.
Speaking of rings, everyone was talking when they found out about Catherine Zeta-Jones’s 10-carat engagement ring. It was an antique and had diamonds throughout the design. Given to her by Michael Douglas it was certainly a sight to see.

It’s customary for the inside of wedding rings to be inscribed with each spouse’s partner but not for Courtney Cox and David Arquette. The two had a personal joke for their rings. They both are said to have the phrase ‘A Deal’s a Deal’ engraved on the inside of their bands.

You don’t really hear too much about celebrities having their weddings at home, but it actually happens more times than you would think. Barbara Streisand married James Brolin at her current home and even added decorations to the pool. Hundreds of little floating candles really added a nice touch to this home style wedding.

Sometimes we forget that even celebrities have normal things such as flowers and candles at their weddings. A flower can have a seemingly magical effect on an entire wedding if used properly. Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards chose to have a classic bouquet of beautiful white and ivory polo roses to carry with them.

There were a lot of celebrities that chose to add flowers to their ceremonies. LeAnn Rimes also had her own bouquet of flowers. She chose to have an arrangement of roses, sweet peas, hydrangeas and freesia. Tall and slender Calla Lilies are what Debra Messing chose to have at her wedding.
